Zeal sucks too. I rode in my friends car that had zeal coilovers. They were so uncomfortable on the street and so i came to the conclusion that they are crap. I also have no track experience at all but i heard they were good on the track even though no one with a s2000 tracks their car with zeals.

zeal is one of the best companies out there...
everyone tracks with tein because they are cheap and easy to replace if something breaks...
most companies don't stock zeal, and you have to wait for them

saying a coilover sucks because it is uncomfortable on the street is like saying... hrm... a 747 sucks because it is a bad daily driver.

I understand. I was being sarcastic and poking fun at the people that have no idea what they're talking about.

Actually almost no one with a s2k tracks with Tein because the general consensus is that Tein sucks. You sure have alot to say about certain products without actually using them (driving coilovers on the street doesn't count as "experience"). I guess its not enough that Maxrev over on s2ki is setting new records with his Teins and beating guys with JRZ's, motons, etc.. with his teins. You're right, they must be "crap"
. They are not cheap but i agree, they are easy to replace if something breaks because they have excellent customer support over here.

breaking records all comes down to the driver. Maxrev is good at what he does. take another driver in his car, on the same track and they probably wont be able to touch his record.
alot of suspension work comes down to the driver and the feedback/response. i drive my car very very hard on the street. come fall colors 06 i will track her and see how i do.

You're right, alot of it has to do with the driver. anyway, good luck at fall colors. You'll love track driving so much that driving hard on the street will seem stupid to you afterwards.

K-Sport had a set of 32 ways for $925, but they're wayyyyyyyy stiff. Pillowball mounts, full aluminum construction, 2.5" ID springs.

kew kew, check it. Heres some info about them....
16 way dampening adjustability
46mm pistons
Forged Aluminum perches
Polyurethane bushings
Steel Springs (tensile strength 180 kgf/cm2)
2 adjust wrenches
Aluminum Upper Pillow Ball Mounts
Adjustable stroke
Adjustable Camber Plates (Mcph Cars only)
Chromoly steel body
Spring Rate F:10kg/mm R:10kg/mm
here are some other ones tooooo i scavenged up. These are called the CST Zero 1 Coilovers w/ SWIFT Limited 200 Springs. Pretty much the same thing but with SWIFT Coil springs.

dayyuuum. I juss did some currency converting on a japanese website. I guess the regular CST Zero 1's are about $835, and the CST Zero 1 w/ Swift coils are $935. Im likin' em even better. haha.

they dont have anything with higher rates? I wouldnt say Teins are total crap, but they are cheap as hell to make. Let's just say a certain CF intake on a EK is the cost of making a Tein Flex lol. Its a shame cause i have the Flex but i wish they were stiffer. I might upgrade to the race springs and the RA shock spec. Or i might just get Amuse. Those CST's look nice.
