I just dropped in a d16z6 into my 91 hatch, finally got most everything to work right. But I still have a problem, seems minor, but somewhat bugs me. When I come to stoplight and on the clutch or in neutral the car will idle at 1,000 for like 3-5 seconds before it will drop down to 700, after that it will idle fine. Anyone know the cause of this?

 

I had the same problem in my b16 and it went away after I installed an apexi VAFC. this porbably doesn't anwser anything for you but it's what fixed my problem.
