But The spoon one is a little stronger than the Cusco. I saw one last night that was claimed to be "Spoon". but it had another bar that tied the two rear bars together.....

by the way.. by the looks of it.. doesn't look like you'll be able to use your secret compartment.. however you can run the harnesses if you got bucket seats..

Maybe it was redesigned spoon bar. So you could use the secret compartment? He had a grip of authentic spoon ****. So maybe is was real.

cusco bars collapse when you roll over, also their design sucks. literally, there is a bolt that stick up right above your head. if you happen to roll over, that bolt goes right into your skull

actually... only the cage has the bolt right next to your head.... the roll bars don't have that issue....

the other issue is the rear arms/legs (whatever you want to call it) ..... they are angled to steeply which reduces it's strength..... the cusco bars are approved in japan... but they do not pass nasa and scca regulations because of the rear arms/legs... (which is the reason they suck)

^ i never disputed that.... and that was probably due to the rear arms/legs by not being at an optimal angle to give it more strength...

its approved because of right hand drive and a lil lower on safety standards

the cusco debate continues i see...

the cusco cages are chromoly, and they fold in a crash. these are the blue cages really made for the bling and shows not legal for the track...

now cusco also makes saftey 21 cages, which are legit for track events and are steel

At this point. I am seriously considering the Safety 21 roll bar since all other don't have their acts together when it comes to a design. Not to mention, I refuse to have anything welded into my S2K.

yeah im anti welding also...

saftey 21 is nice, and cusco is good stuff so i would trust it. its just the blue cusco cages that arnt safe.

blue = bling
21 = legit

I am thinking of getting the Cusco for the harness bar. Even though it may not be the best for stuctural support it is a good option for safely mounting harnesses

thats not a good reason...alot of cages have harness bars, i just like cusco because you can remove it so you can still access the secret compartment.
