Default H22A Compression test Results.....just got motor in

well i just got my H22a motor in and did a compression check 200 200 200 200 straight across. now this motor has been sitting for a few years i know for a fact cause the guy had it in a civic since 1998 ran it 2000 and started it up here and there until now that i bought it. the motor is only supposed to have about 35k on it so i mean if thats true it should be good. another thing vtec doesn't engage as hard as my other motor to and there are no diff mods.my one firend wanted me to ask if there could be anything wrong with timing?

Im a lil upset with those numbers due to the fact my firend just bought a 93 prelude with 170K on his H22A1 and push 200 200 200 200 i mean im glad for him but my last H22A motor that blew on me pushed 245 straight across(when good) and then 220 in a cylinder that was 90% dead on a leakdown actually it pulled 220 in all 4 cyl WHEN IT WAS BLOWN.....

so what do you all think? any suggestion as to maitnence, things to check, etc?

timing belt, water pump, oil pump, do a pressure test on your radiator and cap

Same gauge, same elevation, same conditions?

200 isn't too bad. be lucky it's consistent across and not messed up like my friend's old gsr motor. 180 180 120 180.

did you let the car completely warm up? pull out all the spark plugs and hold it at WOT? same procedure for both?

is there a problem? **** its not as if 200 is insignificantly low or soemthing. for all you know it has more internal wear even with 35k supposed miles.

also how hard vtec "kicks" is a terrible way to determine power.
