Default FS: CLEAN & CHEAP 97 honda civic w/99 front NY

I was going use it for a project car but I have other things to work on right now. So just trying to see how much i can get for it. The car definitely need a paint job. There's only a little bit of surface rust on it, underneather the car is completely rust free.

This civic used to be an automatic and was converted into a manual. When I had the engine out, I did a vtec swap for the engine and change all of the gaskets on the engine including the timing belt and water pump. The tranny is perfect without and grind with new clutch and flywheel. The best part about the car is no rust. The car needs a paint job but I was waiting for spring to paint it. The shell has about 122k and I took the dx cluster out and put in a ex cluster with 64k. The car is inspected and is good till November of 2006.

it may need paint but its still pretty clean. how does the front wheel well look on the profile, is it centered?

would make a nice project for someone. and a legal running car is a real plus.

free bump

it has p/s but the a/c is not hook up at the moment. I was waiting for summer to get it hook up.

some before picture of the car without the engine. The whole car is very clean

the price is pretty firm, if i can't sell it for that price. I'll paint it and keep it as a DD. I've spend more than 3k to convert it to manual and 99 conversion etc. thanx

I'm very interested in this! And I have cash in hand!! But what has to be done for the AC to be hooked up?? Does it need a lot of work or something simple? Would you be able to meet me somewhere in NJ to look at it this weekend? Thanks!

the ac is really easy to hook up, i have all the parts, it's just that it's too cold to work on the car right now in buffalo or else i would hook up for you. I can't go anywhere to meet up because i work constantly plus school. This is a great deal for anyone who's looking for a clean car without any rust.
