Default b16a3 head on a b18c1

Would puting a b18c1 head on a b16a3 do any good. And can you put the cams pistions and intake manifold on it too. I know its not as good as takeing it from a b18c5, but would it be worth while. Or whould it be better to have a b18c1 bottom end and put a b16a3 head on it. I think the b16b is somewhat like that. Not sure. I want to stay non turbo.

Stay with the b18c bottom end, and put the b16 head on it! (poor man's type r!) My friend put a Gsr head on the b16 block and it sucked.

well i have a b16a3 now do i just get a bottom end of a b18c1 and put the b163 head on it. what all do i need i guess i don't need the whole b18c1 engine do I. How much would a b18c1 bottom end run me. Is the intake manifold off a b18c1 better also.
