Im going to paint part of my carbon fiber hood, but I cant think of a good design. Can I get some posts of pics of the painted one?

how about following the natural lines of the hood?

lol... if u look at the pic, it is kind of hard to follow the natural lines like you would do with the oem style. it would look odd if the 'scoop' was not accounted for. thats y i ask for pics to see what others have done

 

I tend to agree, the 5th gen looks hideous with an Invader style hood. Unlike the 4th gen where the extractor actually follows the natural lines of the car.

It is comments like this that make me absolutely hate this website. He wasn't asking anyones oppinion on the ******* hood. He was just asking for some pics/maby some ideas. So hear you go.

My vote is to go with the stock bodylines or paint everything except the inside of the scoop.

Now expletive you guys i am off to prelude online untill i cool the eff down.

I actually agree that too much of the "hating" goes on around here...

I actually like 1/2 painted CF. I would go with painting up to just the first "line" of the hood and leave the flat and scoop CF.

 

id paint the outline section, leaving the scoop and stuff c/f make it kinda look how the integra hood sits ive always loved the way c/f hoods look on the DC integs

 

id have to agree with ^. If youre going to paint it that would look the best. when i get my cf hood thats what part im going to paint.
