i am looking for a pm6 ecu for my crx
is there a difference between a early and late model pm6 ecu?

can i use a d-series dohc intake mani and ecu on a d16y7??

im pretty sure u can only chip the 89-91 pm6's and not the 88's they r pretty much the same other then that. as for ur other Q i dont know

I was under the impression the split was 88-89 and then 90-91.
The 90-91 are much easier to chip, but the 88-89 can be chipped, its just more work.
And there is some debate on the differences between the 88 and 89.

the split is 88-89 and 90-91. You want a 90-91 PM6 for ease of chipping. You can't use a DOHC manifold without extensive modications (i.e. new flange, lol). If you need a 90-91 PM6 I actually have one laying around. Let me know if you want it.

the 88-89 Si had 105hp
the 90-91 had 108.
so there is a split,
but for chiping differences u can chip 89-91 but not 88

Okay, now I know you're wrong. Only the '88 had 105 hp. By 89 it had 108 hp.
Straight from PGMFI.org: "'88-89 ECUs almost always lack EPROMs."
And you can chip the 88-89, it just means using extra equipment and work.

no i mean the dohc from a like 86 integra the d-series dohc
