Default Changing speakers and adding sub to '06 Civic...

How to? Anyone? I wanna add a amp and sub to the existing deck if that's possible. Thanks! Anyone done it yet?

Yes it can be done. There is nothing special or out of the norm on the civic stock radio.

You will need either a stepdown (line output convertor), or an amplifier that has the ability to take signal from the speaker leads, and convert it internally as the input source.

I kinda figured as much. G/F just wanted me to double check before I ripped apart her car. LOL!

I really would love a way to add a aftermarket deck though...
