well for what i know, it helps to have a chipped ECU or running some type of EMS.

yeah, i know theres not cutting that corner, im looking for the plates used to seal up the open space when you take out the egr valve... kinda like the plate you use to cover over the ac compressor when you yank them out.

Make your own. You'll find none ready made. (It's not something advocated here)
Go out and buy an EGR base gasket and use it as a template to have a 1/4" steel plate cut and drilled

Did you try google? (Search: Honda EGR blocking plate) First website. http://www.honda-performance.c...d=426 Fits H22, F22, any Prelude or Accord. Why would someone want to block their EGR anyways?

any preformance gain i get is only a bonus; to be honest; the reason i want to eliminate the egr, is to clean up the motor bay, start striping down the unessisary parts...

over time the the exhaust gasses cause severe carbon build up in the intake runners

as far as it running hotter, and burning gas; in time this f22 will become a full drag, nitrous motor that only gets swaped in for the track season; its still a while away, and i have no plans to do this any time soon.

im not 100% sure, and correct me if im worng, but i belive a bunch of codes need to be corrected; for starters the map (or maf in the f22's i belive) sensor signal needs to be changed, the egr solinoid needs to be eliminated from the ecu's end, and whatever else helps regulate egr functions, id need to look at a wiring script; iv never done the procedure myself, its just an idea i was toying around with.

i dont know about all that but...you could just put a plate over the egr port and put the valve back over it. plug it in and you wont throw any codes, wont have to modify wiring at all...although if you really want to free up all that space that an egr valve occupies then just extend the wires and mount it somehow on your firewall or something, out of sight with a plate bolted over the port opening...
