CRX hood fit in a CRX???
why not put it on when you pick it up and put the shitty one in the hatch...this way you don't worry about scratching it...
it just seems logical to me because i'm sure you could care less about the stock hood...

i would just swap it out but my hood and fender are crunched and if i put a new hood on it would chafe against the fender and would ruin the cf.
swap0em -did you take out the seat or anything to fit the cf hood in ?

I would think that it should fit sideways.
If you want to find additional cubic feet of storage, remove the passenger seat. It's held in with 4 bolts and a wiring clip.
If you're really pressed for space, the rear lockable package shelf is held in by a few screws and once its out, it will give you an additional 6" of space between the floor and the roof at the worst bottleneck in the car.
Come on people...this is one of the under appreciated benefits of owning a rex. Its got more storage capacity than most cars that are twice a big.

it fits inside trust me
both seats still in
you just have to drive real close to the steering wheel, and your visibility is completely shot
its not a fun drive but you can manage

Yea my bad i didnt think about the back interior cause i dont have any rear interior and a have 96 civic seats so the head rest is being held on by the door side and i put the hood in the little slot so i guess the interior would have played a part if i had any

vovchandr - haha, yea im goin 4 hours to pick it up so that ride is gona suck if i g2 sit that close to tthe wheel... we will se. ill probly just take out my passenger seat. thanks guys
If you can't find a crx hood, then get an 88-91 civic hb hood, they are the same front end as the crx, except for the corner lights. I did a fender swap for my crx with an 88 civic hb fender for a more flared wheel well, so I know this works.
I couldnt get it to fit in my crx. And I wasnt going to drive 6 hours crunched up and neither was my brother is the passenger seat.
I put it in sideways and covered it etc and tied the hatch down. Happy Days, kinda loud but still.
