JDM Headlight Bulb
I'm needing to buy a replacement low beam bulb for my JDM headlights and was wondering if a regular H4 bulb will provide the same intensity and appearance as the bulb that came with it. Also, since I have had the JDM's on my car, I seem to always get flashed by oncoming traffic, thinking my brights are on. Are these that much brighter than the USDM's? Last time I checked, they were aimed properly.
edit: dumb question, but where's it best to buy a replacement bulb - no name from pep boys or what?

As those guys said the H4 is what you need, shouldnt be any different from the jdm bulb, mine had some blue Bosch that sucked, so I got some generic looking bulbs "Optilux" They are the Hyper whites, and I looked at them, they are manufactured by Hella, so good lights and cheap. But yeah Silverstars should rule, I couldnt find any local here. As for the brightness, you may want to check the wiring of the bulb, since H4 are a dual filament bulb, so if you have the high filament wired instead of the low, you would in effect be driving around with highs on, since the JDM wiring really uses the inner bulb which is the USDM high beam, as a fog or driving light.
