springs not compressing enough
ive tried to search, but i have no idea what to call this problem. I have H&r sport springs all around my 91 crx dx(b18a) and KYB Gr2's. Whether it matters or not, i just noticed this when i put my new wheels on, 15x6.5 with 195/50 tires. theres about a 2 inch gap between the fender and the tire, and this is in the front mind you. ive seen pictures of Hb's with h&r sports and they are almost tucked. the upper control arm looks like it might be hitting the fender. does anyone have any ideas what else could cause this, or how to fix it?
crazy, i just put on H&R sports tonite w/ kyb agx's and my car is talled than it was too, i'm freaken pissed right now, where'd you buy your stuff from? jdm-in-stock on ebay?? i called them tonite they said they've been getting 12 calls a day about these H&R springs making rex and civics taller or tall in back and lower in front. they told me to reverse them? you put your springs in according to how they were marked as in F for front R for rear right?
i bought the shell back in october with the suspension set up on it. i never noticed anything till now cuz the wheels were 13's.
does your car sit much higher in the back than it does in front? if so then your springs were marked wrong and put on backwards, the fronts have to go in the back and backs in the front, thats what they told me on the fone this morning about my problem which sounds very similar to yours with h&R sports

thats what i thought, i'm still pretty pissed about it, the shop was cool about it though, he warrentied them and sent me out a new set, even let me keep the bad ones in my car until i get the new springs
my car sits lower in back, the front looks lower then usual sometimes and not so low other times, its weird, i meen the car in general is pretty low. but theres still a fair gap in the front. the ride is pretty good too, i have no idea what the deal is
