i was wanting to know if any one knows who sells the plate to do the h22 on a b series tranny i wold like to do it adn would like some info on it thx

This is the way that i am swapping my h. You need mounts for a b linkage and axles all for a b. You need to make a custom driver side mount. You need a b series clutch and flywheel. Convert your wirring up to obd1 and run the vtec. For the crank pully you will need to cut out for it on the driver side finder well. It would be best to make an alt. bracket to fit in front of the motor on top so its easier to change. As for weight dont let those people that say its to heavy talk you out of it. Its heavier but not by much at all. With b series gearing you can be in 13's with a stock motor. If you guys have anyother questions i will try and answer them for you.

 

what kinda car do you have. cause I've talked to that guy before. and clearance is a big isue for a lot of cars. and if that's gonna be your daily driver i would suggest it. cause you may have to cut out some of the Chasse(spelling?) to make it work. also your hood might be in the way cause it cause to motor to sit straight up and down. but if you have a big body car it wont matter but your not getting that **** in a hatchback or crx lol

I believe on DA's and ef chassis require cuttin the chassis for clearance... i might be wrong, and eg/ek/dc chassis only require spacers on the hood, and doing something with the crank pulley, correct me if im wrong.

 

I know a hood for sure is required, Cowl style would work well with ITB's tough...

The plate is 900 plus shipping for a crx/civic. As for the cutting and hacking you have to shave a little off of the back of you block, and you have to cut out the finder well on the inside of the engine bay because the crank pully hits it. Instead i am just going to weld a new bolt pattern onto the b series tranny that way i will not need an adapter plate. Also that should allow me to not need to cut the finder well for clearance. As for the hood you can shim the back of yours up, get a custom hood, and i have seen them clear the jdm hoods with no problems. I have also seen ones that needed a 4 inch cowl to clear.
