Default TEIN RA + EDFC + EG Hatch

According to TEIN the EDFC will not work with the TypeRA Dampners on a EG Civic Hatchback.

Is there anyway that the EDFC can be custom fit so it would work? I really want the handling capabilities of the RAs and also EDFC !

Will the Integra Type-R suspension bolt on to the EG if you swap the rear LCA's? I believe the Type-R RA's are compatible with the EDFC. I could be wrong, so if I am please inform me so that I can learn. I don't know if you could make the EDFC work if the suspension isn't compatible.

The EDFC will work on other make and model cars with RAs. there is just something about the EG that gets in the way. i forget what tho. Something about the battery i think.

If it is something that interferes space wise, then I think you could probably make the room to fit the EDFC. If the shocks are actually not compatible, than I would say don't bother. If it is the battery, move it to the trunk, or get a smaller battery, or both. Good luck.

The RA kit fits the EG if using ITR rear lower arms. The EDFC does not fit because there is not enough room under the hood. You can click the following link to check fitment if the RA kit has already been installed, http://www.tein.com/edfcinstall.html. Basically the EDFC motor hits the hood under structure. If you have further questions on EDFC fitment please contact us. 562-861-9161

So in order to have EDFC with Type RA dampners... I would need to modify my hood. right? how much?

I REALLY want RA's and EDFC !
