Question about final drives in Dx and Si trannies...
Hey everyone, 1st post here on HT.. I've searched and can't find any solid info. Can I just swap in a si final drive into my dx 5 speed to improve accel? I'm running a jdm d15b i/h/e cam, and i'm still using my dx 5 speed. Don't really want to buy a whole tranny so If this is possible to do please let me know.
you can swap the final drive. youll need the ring gear off the diff and the main shaft to do it.
might as well just get a complete Si tranny.

ok thanks for the quick response guys. I'll just start shopping around for a si tranny. Does it make that big a difference for acceleration? I've never actually driven a si so I wouldn't know how different it feels.
