...somthing...superstreet tires, can't remember the brand name. they handle pretty good. i like them, better than kuhmo ecsta supra 712s that i had before. they make less road noise than the yokohama avs es100, but the response on the yokohamas are better. and they are not as good as the bfg g-force sport, or kuhmo ecsta mx. the superstreets have a cool little lip that protects the wheel from rubbing, but i have never used or needed the feature.

Two reviews:

Falken Ziex 512's - decent grip through corners etc, but bad traction at launches

BFG Traction T/A - good at any time, any weather

I've run a few tires on mine...I got through tires about every 8-10k miles. I've had falkens, bfgs, toyos. I'm running the Falken Azenis RT615s right now. They are the bests tires I've had on my car. In the rain, they are a little slippery. The BFG KDW2s were outstanding in the rain and pretty good on dry land.

Dunlop SP5000. They're ok. Its one of the few choices for 215 50 15.

nitto nt01 - good autox tire....will last a long time...good response...very noisy

federal 595rs - good ST tire...pretty grippy...but soft sidewalls

kumho ecsta v700 - great auto tire! similar response compared to the nt01...grippy grippy grippy....wears out fast...noisy

yokohama parada spec2 - good autox tire...lots of sizes...good for daily driving...scary in the rain

pirelli p7000 - crappy...but good enough for crusing and daily driving

the falken ziex's do suck at launches but theyre alright..ask the civic...

t1's i put in kuhmo category

my bro has yoko evs100's they are really nice..good traction and ride

before that he had Potenza re-01's on his itr rims from japanland...those tires were THE ******* ****

and before that he had eagle f1's those were so soft and had good traction at first but wore out so fast and eventually led to the demise of a lude

Bridgestone S-03 Pole Positions: Once heated becomes very, very sticky. Nice in the rain and dominates dry. Kind of expensive though, but it lasts pretty long. Cuts corners like cutting butter...smooth.

Bridgestone RE-750: Nice in the rain and pretty grippy in the dry. Tread life is okay. Tires weren't that pricey. Out of all the tires I've had, this one had the least grip on dry.

Falken Azenis: Very soft rubber compound and heats up very quickly. Sticks like glue, but not over standing water. Normal driving conditions, the tire will last. But under heavy auto-xing, those things burn like wax. For the price, I'd say it's the best bang for the buck.

BF Goodrich KDW T/A: Wet or dry, it grips period. Okay price, not too expensive. Tread life is excellent.

I have 2.18 60Ft on 205 55 15 Ziex's. I think they hook up awesome for a street tire. Definatly not as good as bfg g-force ta's or anything but a good year round tire to drive on and hooks up pretty good IMO.

When I first got my car I had Fuzion ZRi's. I loved them, very hard to make them talk even on hard turns. Nice grip in all weather (Im in texas so I dunno about snow/ice lol). Tread wear seemed decent and the road noise didnt bother me. After those I decided to try Nitto neo-gens which I have on now. They love to squel, which you may or may not like. Grip isnt as good in the wet weather though. Dry grip seems comparable to the Fuzions. Basically, personally for the money I think the fuzions are a good choice but If you cant find them the neo-gens arent really a bad choice though.
