Anyone have a clue what this part is?
I picked up my new s2k on monday night, and there were some parts in the trunk. Among them was the top cover for when the top is down, the "strakes" or whatever they are called that go under the car and divert air, and this wierd purple tube. Anyone know what its for?
and for the hell of it, a pic of my s2k (wow, bet you've never seen a stock s2k before.

strakes are getting installed next week, dealer has no clue about the tube though from how I described it over the phone.

I think the two black, square pieces are inner fender extensions. they either go in front of the front tires or in front of the rear tires. (front I think). As for the other, I got no clue......
Break in period whip (thats what the blue thing is)...its for when you're breaking in the car, if you go over 6,000rpm, you whip yourself with it...and you wait until 600 miles.
^^^ That's a weak one. It's supposed to be long enough to hold 2-3 beers, with a stopcock.
I didn't get anything like that tube with either cars. Never seen it before.
