Default Bad gas milage, no horse power, motor bogs after tune up

I just recently bought a 1990 crx Si 1.6L I replaced the spark plugs with bosh platnum plus 4. Replaced the idle screw to fix idle jumping problem. The car is getting 180 a tank. From what i have heard that is really bad. There is no gas smell i dont think the car is running rich or anything. It isn't throwing any codes.
When i start out in first the car tends to bog down if i dont drag the clutch. When i shift into 2nd it drops rpm bad from 6k down to 2. Also on the interstate i can barely get the damn thing over 80. In 5th gear it has no torqe you can floor it and it doesn't move. The car has 16's on it if that makes a difference. I havn't checked the cat and I dont know where the fuel filter is. Pls help im new to honda's Oh yeah the motor has 233,000 miles on it if that helps.

check your timming first...then go and do a compression check, cause that motor has a lot of miles on it.

That all depends on you. I dont think you could really go wrong with many applications in that kind of a ride. Look around the forum, Im sure you can come up with a few good sounding ideas. Goodluck

dohc zc sounds suitable, cheap and easy. plus you can reuse your axles, tranny, linkage, mounts, etc.

Time to pick up a Chiltons manual for the basic stuff.

Yeah i know i guess i have to order one they dont carry it at auzo zone I just dont get why im only getting 180 miles a tank i mean it should be getting a lot better. Which motor is better for fixing up i want something in the 13's at least The car will still be driven almost 100 miles a day. So i want something that will get better gas milage.
