Manual Transmission Oil
Is it possible to change the oil in my 93 EX manual tranny without pulling it from the motor? I looked at it while changing the engine oil last time and didn't see a drain plug, nor fill tube.
Also, has anyone else noticed their gas mileage drop significantly since it got colder. (those of us in northern climates) Since it started snowing back in November I've noticed mine went from average 32mpg to around 27-28.

LOL yes. Look a little harder for the drain and fill bolts.

Answer #1) #11 = Drain Plug #15 = Filler Plug

Answer #2) Of Course milage is going to suffer, particularly on short trips. Every time you start an engine cold, the fuel enrichment system works to allow the engine to run until it warms up. Sometimes four (4) times longer than on a mild spring day. On a short trip, it's like driving with your choke on half the time.

Wow, wasn't aware of that with regards to fuel content during winter months.
As for the drain plug and fill plug I guess I have a little more searching to do. My wife works for Honda so I can get them to do it but if it is easy to do on my own once the snow melts I'd like to do my own work.
As for my driving habits, I take no short trips. My trip to work is 25 miles each way, all interstate 65-75mph. I checked the air filter today and it was a bit nasty so I changed it. Maybe that will help.
