No sound coming through speakers
I get in my car this morning and take off like normal but I notice there is no music. I look down and my head unit is lit, there is a cd in it, its in cd mode, and the timer for the song counting like normal but there is no sound. I can turn it all the way up and hear a light static through the speakers but nothing is coming out.
It has happened before and I didn't know why. The only way I could fix it was to take the negative terminal off and reset the radio and it worked perfectly again. Now a few minutes later it is doing it again.
Anybody have any idea whats going on?

I am not an expert on how curcuits are designed but i think if u open the cd player up, you can check the flux capacitor. Use a multimeter to check to see if its getting the 1.21 gigawatts required.

Some times you can find what speaker or speaker wire is the problem, by using the fader and balance control on the HU, start by fading all the way to the front speakers, if it still cuts out, the problem is in the front, if it does not cut out the problem is in the rear, the same thing applies if you fade all the way to the rear speakers, if it does not cut out the problem is in the front, if it still cuts out the problem is in the rear, if you find that it only does it when faded to the front or rear, leave it where it cuts out and balance to the left and right, checking to see if it cuts out, if you find that it only cuts out when you are faded to the front and balanced all the way to the left speaker, it is the left front speaker or its speaker wire that is shorted out.
The first place I would look for the short is behind the HU, where the connections were made, and if you have installed aftermarket speakers, make sure the speaker terminals are not touching the metal of the door, [this is a common problem with some speakers in some Honda/Acuras] or rear deck, you didn't mention the car M/M/Y.
