Default my shift ***** almost done. check out the design here.

i'm having these made up probably before march. if anyone is interested send me an im. not sure about prices yet but within a few days I will get a quote from the machinist. Once I can get enough of these sold I will be getting other stuff made. I just don't have enough capital investment to make everything right off the bat. preorders will get discounts. i'll post in here or make a new thread in hondamarketplace and other areas when I know more, .. thanks

oh yeah, they are aluminum, but if you want another material, that can be arranged as well as anodizing/powdercoating

I'm not making these for a business venture or anything, i just wanted to make parts, make a couple dollars to help me make other stuff and just be happy knowing I designed/made stuff someone has on there car. maybe someday i'll re-invent the wheel, but for now it's just a hobby i guess.

Yeah thats cool, props to you for doing it yourself. I'm just thinking it might be tough to sell them being that the market is flooded with a similar product thats already cheap as hell.

Good Luck though

it's a great idea and all, but probably not the best thing to try to make any profit on. unless of course you own a machine shop or are great friends with one.

I only say this because it's not anything original, if you were to say design it differently from every other oval **** out there, and have some nice unique properites, then you have an advantage over the mass produced ones.

please don't take this as discouragement of course, because i am all for making stuff yourself,

as for gear patters in top, probably not since it has a recessed groove for your thumb so getting that engraved would probably cost a lot. I can look into it though.

as for bike parts, probably sprockets, stems, barends, and maybe seat clamps, or some chain tensioners.

I would be interested in an all aluminum 4th gen oem coppy with some weights in it.
