Default EF ABS...Stock???

When buying a master cylinder the I was asked whether my Si had ABS or not.

Was ABS available for a 91 Civic? How can I install them?

Any links/help are greatly appreciated.

My SiR's ABS is the most annoying thing on the damn car. When I get the cash Im going to take it out. Its really sensitive and will go off when on wet roads when there should be no reason to be sliding at all without it.

Not all. For example the portuguese model never had ALB (thank God! The system sucked!)

I don't have it either, but I think it came as an option for Norwegian/Finnish models.

i believe they came standard on UK VT's, and an option on late UK spec 16i-16v (late 89-91)...

its probably the same if not very similar to DA integras alb system, which was very problematic to say the least

I always assumed you would actually see the swap done if there was any point. I'd love ABS, but not a poor implimentation.

I am still interested in what's involved in a swap though.

For autocross in the stock class (HS) one must adhere to the cars and options available in this country only...I'll start working on my own brakes to make them as good as possible...
