Leather seats were not even an option in the 1994 GS-R. 1995 they became optional, and from 1998-on they were standard. Be aware that the 1995-1997 leather seats are different than the 1998-1999 seats, which are different than the 2000-2001 seats. I think in 2000 they added an extra adjustment to the seat. As far as my preference, I like the leather on the 1995-1997 seats the best. 1998-1999 seats have different leather than the 1995-1997, the 2000-2001 seats have the same leather as the 1998-1999 seats, but with the added adjustment.

I don't know about 94 but 99 is the year came standard not 98. 99-01 GSR leathers are all same with adjustable *****.
