Default Any GSR/CTR/ITR rear sway bar owners need your help!

Ok heres my situation I own a 98 Civic EX Coupe and I recently bought a used 94 GSR rear sway bar so I could have some sort of sway bar in the rear without having to get subframe reinforcement. When I purchased my GSR rear sway bar I thought it didn't come with endlinks so I bought a set from Function7 which I really prefer over the stock ones that did come with the sway bar. So I go out this morning and proceed to take off the stock endlinks and replace them with the Funciton7 ones to find out that that the bolt that goes through the end of the sway bar bushing is considerably thicker that the stock one, so I removed the metal sleeve to allow the bolt from the Function7 endlink go through the rubber bushing and I noticed some play even after I used some washers so that the nut did not go into the bushing while tightening the bolt. After thinking about it for a quick minute I didnt like the idea of having that bolt in there with so much play that I decided that I should just go aheat and get a CTR or ITR rear sway bar and ASR subframe reinforcement and just sell the GSR sway bar, instead of trying to fab something up so that the Function7 endlinks will fit. So I guess this is my real question, is there anybody using the Function7 endlinks with a GSR rear sway bar on a EK coupe? I'm at a loss and could use some help or advise. Thanks

If you look at ASR's website, they have a picture of the EK subframe and all of the parts that come with it. Look for the 4 aluminum bushings in the center of the pic. Those bushings replace the rubber bushings on the end of the swaybar. They are drilled to the diameter of your bolt.

So, you can have something like those fabricated. Or, just buy an ASR and everything will be taken care of. You won't even have to worry about ripping out your subframe.

Yeah I know about A-Spec Racing and their kit, I've actually been contemplating getting their subframe brace kit which also includes the CTR 22mm sway combo for $340 not including shipping/taxes Password sells just the subframe brace for $180+ shipping/handling =$206. Thanks for the heads up though.

bump for a resolution, because I've got a 97 EX coupe and I want to add a rear swaybar. Not sure whether to go 99-00 Si, or GSR/ITR.
