Sweeeeeet!!!!

Here in Spain they are a bit more common. I was looking into this one to buy... but it was a bit over my budget, so got a ITR instead.
http://www.autoscout24.es/search/det...&priceto=&zip=

20k miles, 21k euros (at dealer different price from this ad)... about 18.5k dollars... not bad indeed. HID lights, ESP, trip computer, some nice things in this car.

Anyone has any idea how this handles/performs compared to a ITR?

Being a 4 door sedan, handling seems to be amazing, got more HP and more torque (and more weight)... having 4 doors is nice, and the interior is also nicer than the ITR. I am sure it is not as FUN as the ITR but close.

Nice pics, but Accords don't do it for me. They just don't look... sporty?

Not to mention they just look flat-out better than US-market Accords, regardless of the Type R goodness...

This is the real Euro Accord R, designed and manufactured in the UK. The Japanese version is just called Euro R, don't know why......

are u in the states??

these are pics of the JDM Honda Euro Type-R

it´s a totally different car but it has the same 2.2 dohc vtec engine.... I think the body type in Europe is also sold in japan but under which name I´m not sure

They also have the Torneo Euro-R but that´s even more far away from the European Accord then the Honda Euro-R

cuz what I see here is the Torneo only came in SiR or something like that and has the same body style as the JDM Euro R...I could be wrong.......I will try to lok at the cars these few days when I get out of the house...

ok...I just did some research,...the Toreno Euro R and the Accord Euro R seems to be the same car with minor head lights and grills differences from the Honda Japan site...they even used the same pic for the 2 cars..(shot from the rear)
same engine specs.....just think it is weird that Honda Japan would market 2 cars with tiny differences...

so now....there are 3 types of accord type R..
Accord Type R
JDM Accord Euro R
JDM Torneo Euro R

finally...I understand now...

thanx

from what i've heard they handle pretty GREAT on curves... much more stable than our ITRs.

Yes, is that the 215 HP version? Maybe H22B?

I think it uses the H22a4 type s motor, because of the red valve cover, but im not positive. Anyone know where i can get those headlights? Those look amazing, and do u know if they will fit a 5th gen accord.

Honda finally IS realizing that they can sell it over here, IS300 competition.
We should get something close.
In '04 Honda/Acura will unleash all kinds of goodness for us. O.K. still maybe not like Japan, but darn close. '03 Accord is Sweet, '04 TL is HOT..not to mention a few other goodies they have for us!

I wish we had those here...argh

The pick with the engine, is that an H22? Do the Euro R share engines with the Type S Prelude?
