Weak Rear End?
On my 96 Accord I have noticed lately that the rear end seems to be a little weak. I had the struts replaced about 20,000 miles ago with Monroe Sensa-Trac's. The ride of the car is very smooth but when I have just a little extra weight in the back (say around 100 pounds or so) the rear end sags lower than what I would expect.
Should the rear of these cars be fairly strong? Is there a test that can be done to where I can measure how strong possibly the springs are? I talked to a couple mechanics at two Honda Dealers here and they said the springs hardly ever go out.
By the way, the entire suspension is all stock with the exception of the rear struts I had installed.
Thanks!

True, but they are a very low rate, and are progressive; so it will sag when loaded. As long as it's not bottoming out when you load the trunk, you're probably fine.
