Default jdm h22 VTEC & idle problem

sup everyone. ok, i got a jdm h22 in my integra. for a while now ive been having some idle problems. when i start my car it warms up just fine with no idle problem. when i start driving it and i come to a stop, my idle drops really low till it almost turns off. my oil light blinks then my idle goes back to normal. sometimes when i come to a stop, my idle drops so low, my car turns off on me. anyone know what it could be? i got no check engine light.

another thing, my VTEC pops when my car is barly warm but when i drive it alot and my car get really warm my vtec doesnt engauge at all. then my car wont go past 6,500 RPM. still got no check engine light. what could it be? help! thanks.

Does the check engine light come on at all? It should come on when you turn the ignition on, then go out (this so you know the light works...).

lol oil pump and pressure...thats not at all related to ur problem. this is a fairly common problem on the gm 3.1 and the thing that causes it to stall when you stop is a build-up of carbon on the throttle plate. so i'd suggest you take some penetrating oil and clean off the throttle plate first. i mean its easy as hell and pretty much free so its worth a try. i dont like to use brake clean or those alcohol based cleaners because it could cause problems inside ur engine if you spray a lot in it. just wipe it on a rag n shine it up.
