GSR F/B Brake conv. Which Prop?MC/BB?
I will be doing a Front/Back GSR Brake conversion on my 94 CX pretty soon. I bought my setup from a local, but it didn't come with the Prop / MC / BB. Now i'm wondering what it is i'm supposed to be searching for, to buy.
I was told that I wouldn't be able to use the prop from a GSR, I would need an early 90s DA prop for it to work? Is this the only prop that will directly bolt on there to work?
I was told the MC/BB from a GSR would work, but that the hardlines would need to modified, and i would have to go through a hassle. Then I was doing some searches and came to find that I can maybe use a Civic EX MC/BB and that would work with my GSR setup, and would bolt right on. Anyone have more info on this?
Any input would be helpful. I was reading the articles written up from other members, but none of them are specific as to what Prop/MC/BB would bolt right on and work.

Thank you for the quick reply.
So a 15/16 MC will bolt right on to my EG Brake Booster? Does it need to be from a 88-91 4 door EX? is the 15/16 from the RS (94-97) the same thing? Will it work also?

I would do what he said. Also, everything you have been told is pretty much correct. I know for a fact that a 91ex sedan MC will bolt up to you BB and is 15/16. I am almost positive a RS MC will bolt up as well, but being that it is also 15/16 I would go with what I know works. As for the prop valve, the correct one would be 40/40, and you can get it from DA tegs or from RS DC integras w/o abs. You can't use the ones from GSR because they have ABS and are different.

if you get the MC from the RS you'll have to bend/reflare the lines, it isn't worth the hassle, get the 88-91 from your local autoparts store, mc's are pretty iffy from junkyards.
also if i were you i'd go ahead and get ss lines new rotors/pads if you're gonna do it...since you have to bleed the brakes may as well do it all at once, ya know?
be careful with those balljoints.
oh yeah, just make sure the porp is from a NON ABS integra, also the bracket will differ from the one on your civic, i got a star tool and swapped the brackets so it would fit. I clamped it together so it wouldn't spring apart.. Its a star tool with a hole in the middle.... But this is up to you, i just wanted it to fit as near to stock as possible.
yeah, also dont forget your flare wrenches, 10 mm.
I did the swap on my own, the hardest part for me was the bleeding....it's a rather straightforward ordeal.
