Well i was talking to Mark from JDMclub.com and he told me that he had a full NSX type r rear clip with motor everything!! the mileage is 13000 and it's a 99. the White wheels are still on it. I've seen some of his work and i must say that it's top notch. looks like it came from the showroom and was chopped in half. If you need anymore info please email him at
mark@accordclub.com or you can email me at

I didn't think they made the NSX-R in 99.
nsxtcjr, want to chime in?
Please post more information, pictures would be great, otherwise I'm gonna be inclined to delete this post for fear that it's not really legit.

There were no NSX-R's manufactured in 1999. The production stopped in 1996.

sorry, going by the year I was told from my distributor, I will check on it today (try to get pics as well) and find the exact year. it was hit by a truck on the front of the car, so the front of the car was ripped straight off the frame, but as far as the swap and rear clip, is in excellent shape

Anyway, the VIN should be printed somewhere on the rear firewall, I think, plus should should be able to engine and transmission numbers. From that information, I'm sure we (the NSX community) should be able to tell everything we need to know.
Some people may think this is a little TOO fishy... Bear with us, Mark. I just checked out your site, and it sounds to me like your distributor just said "Type-R" when they really meant Type-S or Type-S Zero or some other mis-communication. As I said, I'm sure the VIN will reveal all.
