Default MEtal rubbing white turning...

Hey a friend of mine has a 2000 LS and his car is making this rubbing noise everytime he turns his wheels. Sounds like metal rubbing. It wasnt as bad at first but its slowly getting worse. He said he already replaced his brakes. WHATS THIS RUBBING NOISE?

Axels, or it could be your wheel bearings. just a thought.

I bet it is the dust sheild behind the rotors scraping. Just pull the tire and bend it back off the rotor some with your hands.

It could also be the ball joint. I had a metal scraping noise and then one day i was going out of a parking lot and my ball joint came out pulling my cv joint out of the tranny

thats what happened to me.. but my storys a lot gayer..
I had to replace a lug, tand to do that, you have to remove the hub, and when you put the hub back on, its recomended to replace the wheel bearings as well. sO I got a shop to press in the wheel bearing and they messed it up, so I get to go buy a new one.. over 100 bucks on wheel bearings just because of a stupid piece of **** lug
