Bad front suspension??
Okay this is kinda long...
I have a '90 EF2 (4 dr. civic) and I can't lower the front of it because no matter what kind of shocks/struts I've used, the shock fluid leaks completely empty in about two days after lowering it. I've tried tokico's (blue) with Neuspeeds Sport lowering springs but leaked by the next morning. I've tried skunk2 sleeve coilovers and the same thing happened. I'm wondering if it could be the upper control and all the other suspension bushings.
What do you guys think?? Any comments? or solutions?? I really want to lower it but I can't so I have stock suspension in the front, which is about 2 1/2" from the fender to tire (17s 205/40s).

I would only use Koni Yellows. They are far superior to any shock out there ! PERIOD.
How long have you been on those shocks ?
btw, you cant really lower an EF past 3.0" unless you have really stiff spring rates (more tan 450 lbs) up front, that will help prevent the upper control arm from hitting the inner/upper shock towers .

Well, I've only tried it with Tokicos and those were the shocks that actually leaked the fastest. I put them on with Neuspeed's Sport springs on a morning and by the next day the shocks had no fluid so my front suspension was relying only on the springs, which was a horrible ride. What kind of springs would you recommend that can take 450lbs or more??

lol.
450 lbs is the spring rate.
You have a lotta reading to do .....

Oh yeah sorry... i misunderstood.
I just really want to be able to lower it without having to replace shocks every week.
Bushings and upper control arm wouldn't have anything to do with not being able to lower it?
