question about psi

Default question about psi

stock 88 civic.......


what psi shoudl the front and back tire be?

on the tire itself it says 44 psi.. ?

please help im going to do a long drive on sat so i need to know asap!

The 44 psi on the side of the tire is the MAXIMUM pressure for the tire, this is usually not desired.

To find your recommended psi, try looking in the manual or on the frame of your doors.

Or perhaps some experts here know it off the top of their head.

when air heats up it expands a lil.so you dont want maximum psi, then you risk a blow out. id say 35 is perfect.no lower than 30

i'd go 32 all around i pretty sure thats spec, do whatever manufacturer sez. Unless you've modified your tires for different sizes etc, then you will have to find the best psi for your liking

My brother that works as a Honda Tech told me 35 or 36. I have never really read that anywhere but that is what I go by.

32-25 is fine.
