Actually, only Amsoil and Redline make a true snythetic oil. The others are just much finer petroleum based oils, meaning they can claim to be synthetic, but aren't as good as the real thing.

HE"S RIGHT!
AMSOIL BABY!!!!!!!! PUT THAT SH!& IN EVERYTHING: tranny, engine, and fuel additives, you should have a HUGE change in gas milage
the only way to test the gas milage is to fill it set the milage counter, then run to empty and fill it again (then you see how much exactly gas you used during those miles divid the miles by the gallons you just put into the tank ... a lot of people just fill it on empty and divide what they just put in it to the miles.. and thats not a true test...

if you guys get more than 230miles on a full tank. Then yes my car is indeed messed up then. Should i use fuel injection cleaner? i have not seen redline or amsoil syn oil in the stores. Do you have to ordrer it from napa?

You forgot Mobil 1. And all 3 of those oils are called Group 1 synthetics. there all just as good as the next. The only differences are what extras are in them. Amsoil and mobil1 are the best IMO, and redline is just overpriced, like royal purple.

You really shouldnt offer advice when you dont know what your talking about. None of those oils are a group1. Mobil1 is a group4, amsoil is a group4 with some ester, redline is a group5 oil. Royal purple is a group3 hydrocracked dino oil with all the wax esters removed, way overpriced for some decent oil with purple dye. If you can afford it, redline is one of the best oils for your car and you can extend drain intervals significantly.

hands down on every outside test done AMSOIL has been first on every ball bearing friction test and heat test... it is a lot of money but by far a huge investment worth getting... if you have to spend 24dollars every 3000-4000 i think its worth it to have an engine last. (there is a huge difference in color too when you change your oil its not as burnt therfore its not breaking down as bad)sorry if i sound like a broken record but i was sold on the stuff the same way and those that proved it to me... (my friend races 4 wheelers in hairscrambles and he loves the **** he said its almost like new on every oil change)

its a normal motor oil i run 10-40 in my engine and tranny, sorry i didn't order it on line i ordered it through my buddy... one of the companies that did the tests on all the "synthetics" you won't find it in any stores unless they are deal with amsoil, which most don't
