ive been getting shocked everytime i get out of my car. does this happen to anyone else. is it normal?

thats funny that you mention that, i got shocked getting in/out of my car the other day.

 

i think its normal, happens to me everyday

 

During the winter months, when the air is drier, static electricity builds up from the friction of your body/clothes on the seat. When you go to leave, you are charged and when you touch anything metalic, you will release that energy in the form of a little spark. I used to scoot my feet on the carpet during the winter, then go and kiss my mom, zap the hell out of her. We don't really talk anymore...

my car does the same thing, it's annoying sometimes.

 

yea happens to my everytime I get out and shut the door, doesnt bother me.

 

Happens to me all the time. Get out and dont touch any of the metal, take one of your keys and touch the body with it to discharge the static.
