Shaky brakes(90 crx si)
Sooo i have shaky brakes under hard braking plus it just feels sloppy on that side(front passenger)when going over bumps.I encountered this problem before on my old 92cx and on the same side
so i took off the rotor and well it was warped so i resurfaced it.
Now this is a old car and im sure the suspension has gone to crap especially the front so i want to make it like new again.Any help is welcome also tyson you mentoined to me one time a steering rack bushing. If i can remember you said it allows play in the suspension when its going out or has failed.I wonder if i need that part as well

all symptoms of the infamous rack end bushing.
ppl are going to say you have a warped rotor...blah blah blah... thats not the source of the problem. fix the bushing.

remember to check all the other balljoints too.

after i replaced my steering rack bushing, my shaky braking turned into a very light pulsing. that was all my "warped" rotors were contributing to the steering wheel play. i replaced the rotor anyway of course.
afer i replaced it on someone elses crx, he said his shaky braking went completely away. no need to replace the rotor.
so just fix the bushing first. remember to tighten the gearbox afterwards. and i all my advice is in that thread. read carefully.

Alright tyson so i didnt do the bushing and went ahead and got new pads and rotors and that fixed the shaking. So one out of the two problems is gone. The second was that clunking noise when on a hard shift or when driving on a rough road.I thought it was my engine mount so i looked at all of them and found the front one by the radiator cracking.
I just got a new one from honda and put it in and well the problem is still there.Do you think the problem is the rack end bushing? ive checked everything and made sure it was tight. The sound is right in front of me
