89 CRX RPM Problem

while on neutral the rpm goes up and down. I replaced the electronic air intake valve, but problem persist.

Will the EGR valve cause the same symptoms?

im having the same problem in my car i got a jdm d15b and before the car warms up the idle surges like between 4000 and 5000 rpm's and after it warms up and i drive around the idle continues to get higher

not that i know of. are you throwing any codes? if not check if your idle control screw is backed out to much. try and lower it. this is from personal experience
