I have no idea how he did it, but he's a really smart kid (we got the same genes LOL).... and he's only 14.... he's been saving up since he was 12 and just bought a EK hatch w/out en engine to start modding (with the help of my dad)

There's an easier way to do it, particularly on a white car.
Magic wand, and hold Shift to add parts to it. Once you have selected most of the painted areas of the car, go around and fix the edges with a Lasso tool (Magnetic is best for this), then go to Variations, choose the colour you want, and done.
