This happened to my H23A1, and I don't know what the hell it is. I'm in the process of getting my H22A swapped into my 'Lude because of the problem.

 

So it may be knock huh? Did I spin a bearing or what? Or is it piston slap? What else could it be? Thanks for your help!

 

I wish I could tell you. I'm going to take apart my H23A1 as soon as I get it back and I'm going to find out what's going on. That should be as early as next Monday.

I really thought it might be the flywheel...

 

Dude this is either rod knock or main bearing knock. Happened to me once and it were the main bearings. Check this out a.s.a.p. and don't drive the car, maybe it has fixing.

 

Deffinately a knock. and I'm deffinately not interested in a trade anymore.

spun a bearing it seems son... Thats a very clear sound to me.

No, I'm not the ******* here, I've been talking to Madcitylude about trading for the past week or so, I was willing to drive halfway to WI to do this trade, and look at that ^^ it knocks!! He lied to me when I asked him if it had ANY noises at all. I also got word that it has a blown headgasket. Lets see the antifreeze Madcitylude.

Little hostile I see. I was only intereted in 2 trades for sure BOTH Civics. 93 + 96

I never thought it was a knock till yesterday!! It just got a little louder and more noticeable!.

So whatever man!

Thats sure funny, you told me you were going to trade for an Integra TODAY, what happened, he back out as soon as he heard the knock?

The way I see is that, if he is trying to pass the knock if there was nothing, then he wouldn't even post the thread....

I swaped out my h23 when i herard the noise but it turns out it was a balance shaft bearing. But oh whell.

P.S. Wayne you are a dousche-gargler.
