my car was throwina code 8 which i think is the tdc ,, would that make the car idle weird and run funny ..thanks

 

1. first things first. Always reset the ECU and make sure the code comes back to insure a problem that is not intermitant.(sp)

2. replace dist rev limit is 3,000rpm right?

 

is this the origional motor or a swap cuz i had that prob with a b18 swap and it was bad wiring but if u mean running funny like when u are at 3,000 and it feels like it is killing fuel then turning back on, well that means u have a bad wiring job if it is a swap use a digital multimeter to check for resistance.

 

bump yea me and my friedn just swapped a 92 teg motor in my 91 dx hatch and it will idle fine for a min then drop down but then will shoot back up i have no idea what it could be
