Default Advice on B16 wiring loom, look complete?

Hi. This guy is selling his B16 wiring loom which he never actually got to try out. He said the guy sold him the swap stuff but he never put it in, sold his car and bought a WRX. So, he says he wants to sell this for $150, which includes the cost of shipping. What do y'all think? Does everything there look good? How does the price sound? I am swapping the B16 into my 91 CRX DX. It would probably save me a lot of wiring troubles, or would it add more? Thanks for the help.

Most likely it is off a right had drive car and that means that everything is not going to line up. So in short it is not worth the hassle...it is only good for salvaging plugs and pins.

Ok, so you say that everything will fit ok? Now my question is, is it worth $150? I mean, that isn't exactly cheap. Am I better off just using my existing wires and adding in whatever is necessary? Or, would it be easier to use the setup that this guy is selling (would it be plug and play). In other words, if it were you, what would you do?

Guys you are not getting the point. I know about the DPFI to MPFI conversion. I have an injector resistor box and the necessary SI parts so that is not the problem. What I want to know is should I spend the $150 on this harness or just switch over to an SI one and then modify that for the B16?

An si one is the same thing - vtec wiring. If you can get a hold of one I would suggest to use that.

You Will need the connections for the vtec sol. and the oil pressure switch. They will not be on the si harness.

Mine came with a hacked harness so I am using that to make the vtec sub harness.

150 - is too much you can pick up an si one for 25-50 bucks at a junk yard.

It will not be a plug and play affair. You will need to repin the connections to the fire wall connections.

you should just do the conversion using your DX wiring harness..

you have the box and the injector harnesses already? if so, then go down to your local Home Depot or LOWES, or somewhere similar and buy about 40 feet of 18 guage 4 conductor home stereo/security type of wire.. this will have a grey color to it and have 4 wires inside.. about 10 bucks..

re-wire the injectors, the distributor, and you will have to extend the wires for the eacv and maybe the TPS too. you will have to swap the two pins on the TPS..

and you will also gain the knowledge on how to re-wire dx to si-R

now, think of all the money you can make from your friends when you do this for them..

email me if you have more questions
