hey before you tell me to searched, i have found nothin or im just lookin in the wrong place but can anyone give me the link to the DIY amber head unit on a stock civic unit? thanx, be muchly appreciated!

 

everyone says it cant be dont but i have dont it twice. all i did was get this paint stuff at the hobby store that the guys use on the trains for the light up signs and stuff. i will post pics 2morrow if i can get a cam. but dont let anyone tell you that it cant be done

 

I'm pretty sure some companies make lens paint. They may have amber but, I know it's offered in a wide variety of other colors too.

 

pretty much all stores that sell paint for model cars should have tinted clear ie. i have some tamiya clear orange and clear red on my desk right now. i might try it and take some pics tonight

 

yea thats what i used... i just poped off the front and painted it over the parts where light shines thrue. took of the lil blue boots. and than painted the screen with a good brush
