Check your tire pressure. Then put the right amount in. Thats your problem.

Thats your problem right there lol... but seriously, I have a 92 gsr with 242,500 miles on it internally stock motor w/ AEM CAI, Headers and exhaust.

I've tried tire pressure, cap & rotor, spark plugs, wires, O2 sensor, blah blah blah.. still getting the same amount of miles.

The most I've ever got was 320 miles all highway, going 80 or less and pushing the limits of the fuel light.

On average, I get between 240-280. Thats a mix between city and highway.

Good luck on the miles. If you find a way to increase your MPG, let me know! lol..

got pics of your car?

I feel you too, i dunno what happened, but my mileage seemed to have randomly went down i a while back.. maybe its the cold weather making my car run richer.
but i get about 240 to a tank on mine as well.

before i did my ls/vtec conversion i was gettin almost 30 mpg all the time. now i average 24 but i've also got 440cc injectors and a 70mm throttle body so im sure those arent helping

P.S. props on an 93GSR with only 83,000 miles on it...

When was the last time your timing belt was changed? Did you get any maintenance records when you bought it? Could also be a bad O2 sensor. Anything. Check the codes on the ecu and see if anything comes up. Then get back to us.

Also, check your fuel filter.
