speedometer! what to check when not working

my beater speedometer is not working what are some things to check when its not working ?

btw is a 90 integra ls

speedometer cable in the back of cluster most likely.

Check the speedometer cable and the vehicle speed sensor.

Try removing the cable from the tranny and pushing it towards the firewall, hopefully reseating it into the VSS in the cluster. Then gently reattach it to the tranny. Fixed mine.
