Default turbo build....

hey guys, i need a help on a turbo build. My goal is currently 230+whp on stock engine(my b18c1 with 100k km on it) with good turbo components so that in 6 months or so build the engine so i can make 350whp at the least with the same turbo setup, wanting to do 400whp but we'll see. i'd like to know what components to use to acheive this goal, and everything i need. I know alot about engines and turboing but have never done this kind of project before and have researched but would like some info for my specific questions. thx

Search the god damn website. Your topic is covered... better yet go to Forced induction.

Get a good-sized ball bearing turbo with a kit and an EMS...

buy my setup! it includes everything, even the little stuff, from tee fittings to gaskets, to Moroso aluminum 5.5qt oil pan to greddy oil catch can. From walbro fuel pump to SX performance FPR. Everything is included.

EVERYTHING.

Best of all. its Oil and Water Cooled. Garret T3/T04b turbo.

Suggestions: Upgrade injectors and get a EMS.

My current set up is stock except for header/s. i dont think i have the funds to go and just outright but the entire setup now but that is a killer deal! My plans are hopefully getting it painted, spoiler system then turbo and after that build teh engine for more boost.

its so cover but ah you have a B18C from what I see and well you want to really do your research on honda-tech its all here. froced induction is where you should look, you can get a turbo set up for cheap if you know how too look all around. a honda motor can take 10psi stock. do it right and you'll have 350hp. I wish you luck.

whats the price range you think that could get me a decent turbo kit? Would peiceing it together be cheaper? And on ebay everyone always has b18 turbo kits with t3/t4 turbos for like 800 before shipping. Are these legit? im guessing they are probably used but they say they have had the turbos rebuilt.

i just built my engine this past month...ill tell you what i got.
Rods
balanced crank
pistons
good bearings
probably have to bore your block atleast .20 over.
good gaskets
some ppl say sleeves are a must, but there really expensive and i didnt have it. from one of my honda books, it says the stock sleeves start to kinda move around at 15...just matters what your goals are....mine are 350whp or so...good luck

Around $3000-4000. I, personally wouldn't buy used unless you're an all-around mechanic.

If you buy a manufactured kit like peak boost, rev hard or turbonetics, you will spend 2800-3900, you can get that same stuff individualy for like 2000-2500, just do alot of research and buy stuff when you find a deal, I have spent 1300 so far and all I need is turbo, oil lines, and fuel pump. just make sure you know what your doing before you buy.

dont buy the cheap kits off ebay, ive heard to many horror stories to trust that ****. you can get great deals off ebay, just look for real parts, not xs power or ssac.

it ok to buy used, just make sure everything is going to fit before you buy it, be prepared to do some welding also because its never perfect.

Use the search function!! I was feeling nice so I told you but you need to search, its been covered.
