Default wideband o2

i have a plx m-500 wideband o2. i am about to install it but i need an answer to some question. there is the wideband o2 sensor that is connected to the plx device, and there are the power cords that are hooked up. there is also another set of wires that are the same as the o2 sensor wires, do i need to hook those up to the old o2 sensor wires so that my ecu reads that there is still an o2 sensor? also, are the gray and white wires necessary to be hooked up when using hondata, or no?

the grey wire is the narrow band output and is used for the hondata. The white wire is the wideband output and is used in the hondata while tuning so the program can datalog the wideband values with RPMS and map signal

okay, but what about the 2 sets of wires for the o2 sensor?

is one for the new wideband o2 and the other to connect to the old wiring so that the ecu still reads an o2 sensor?
