2 questions re '03 ex v6 4door?
hi guys, nice forum! i've driven accords a long time. last year i bought a lease return.
1. first time i've had power seats. but i can feel the seat move a little bit forward when i stop the car. just enough to make me uncomfortable. the dealer said this is normal for honda power seats to be a bit loose. is he right? i never felt this before.
2. sometimes when i pull away from a curb there is a slight 'adjusting' sound in the front wheels and i can feel it slightly in the wheel, like a short, soft swish or thump. it just happens one time until i am pulling out again. i couldn't get the car to do it when i tried to show the dealer. any ideas?
thanks in advance.

1. ur dealer is full of crap on the seat. I have a 98 accord and the power seat does not move AT ALL. I have never had a car with a power seat that moved when the car stops.
2. maybe tire rubbing on the curb?

ok i guess i will go back about the seat.
about that front tire feeling, it's not the curb because it seems to happen when i'm straightening out after pulling away.

Do you still have the stock Michelin tires? Mine were pathetic and got rid of them after 13k miles, noticing the same problem going around turns and when i even tried to touch the gas pedal when it was raining, I'd just spin all over the place.
It could also be that you're hitting the gas too much coming around a turn, and since your car is more powerful than mine it could be the tires losing traction. I've noticed the same problem when doing a right turn on red and hitting the gas too hard, even with performance summer tires over the stock all-season tires. Not sure on what the culprit is, but I'd guess it's a tire problem.

if this dealer does not help you, go to a acura dealer if another honda dealer is unavailable. the Acura dealer can do warrany repairs for honda as well.
