crx and ef engines?
I think you may be a bit confused with the terminology. But USDM 88-91 CRX's and Civic's came with either a D15B1, D15B2, or D16A6 motor. All were SOHC non-vtec motors.

EF is the label on the vin # of the japanese spec 88-91 civic and crx..In america they are ED's and in europe they are EE's..
So asking "whats the difference between crx and ef motors". doesnt make any sense..
