97 GSR Maintance
I went to get a simple oil change at Goodyear in Lynnwood, they also did a free maintance inspection on my car I have around 102,000 miles on my car. I wanted to know how important and if you guys could help me find some place that could do my maintance for a cheaper price. The six things I need maintance on my car is:
New Water Pump: $119.00
Radiator Cap: $10.00
New Radiator: $310.00
Cooling System Flush: $52.20
Cam Shaft Belt: $149.62
Serpentine Belt: $20.08
Can you guys help me if all six of these are very important that I need to get it fixed soon and if I can get these done cheaper. I am willing to pay some if they can give me a deal.
Thank You

Those fixes aren't impossible, you don't have friends who can get together with you and change it?
How does the car run? Does it overheat? Changing the Water pump & radiator sounds like they believe its not efficient, yet I had 2 out of 3 of my integra's run towards 180k miles on original water pump/radiator. When you replace the radiator, it could be about ~$100 from a car parts store, don't spend $300 unless its a racing one lol. And replacing the radiator already implies a coolant flush and a new cap, der.
It's hard to help you find a place considering I'm not in WA. Best bet is to NOT go to any old mechanic or the dealer, but find a friend who can referr you to an honest guy who does honest work and gives honest advice.
It's very easy to get taken advantage of in that industry,...

i think you're getting taken at that shop. i'm assuming the prices are just for parts only. or actually, those could be with labor included. anyhow, most of those are easy to change on your own given you find the parts at a parts store.
new water pump off ebay: item: 8036673738, under 70 dollars total
radiator (cap): i seriously doubt you need a new radiator. a used OEM one at any junk yard or i'll sell you mine: 50 bucks (+S/H). a new racing one off ebay (koyo or fluidyne): 300-350 bucks. two containers of radiator fluid: 10 bucks?
cam shaft belt: ?
serpentine belt: 20 bucks?
... sound like you've got some searching to do. if you go with the shop, you can ALWAYS ask for a "special discount." NEVER go right away with the price they quote you. you can even provide your own parts and just pay for the labor!

I think the camshaft belt is the timing belt. But any, you can get a new water pump, timing belt, and tensioner pulley from prostreetonline.com for about 150. As for the radiator, dont spend more than 140 bucks on it.
Are those the prices for the stuff installed? If labor is not included, i woud NOT got to that place. If labor is inwith the cost of each thing, and you dont know how to do the stuff urself, then i would let them do it. Dealer is going to cost a lot more than that place.
If those prices are just for parts, then hell no. But if there is labor is included in parts and you dont know how to do the stuff, then have them do it
