Do a search on google, and you will find a dpfi to mpfi, and if you have q's along the way you can call us... If its worth it to you, you can have the harness done by us

What obd1 conversion harness do you have? They usually have the vtec wires already in the harness..

The easiest way i've seen to do what you're doing is Boomslang's DPFI OBD0 -> MPFI OBD1 conversion. Runs all the wires for DPFI, VTEC, and the new O2 sensor. Makes it really easy. All you have to do is cut and paste

I'm sure Rywire offers a similar product as well. I highly recommend both Rywire and Boomslang.

where does the wire for vtec come off the engine? my conversion harness already has it in it but im just not sure what wire it is or how many are involved...on my conversion harness it says 2 wires (Vtec solenoid signal and Vtec pressure switch signal)....where are these wires located coming from the engine on a Sohc Vtec ZC?

my obd0 to obd1 conversion harness has 13 wires i have to splice and solder
1 02 signal heater
1 02 sensor signal
1 vtec solenoid signal
1 vtec pressure switch signal
1 intake bypass signal (if used)
1 knock sensor signal
2 powers
3 grounds
1 service check signal

The VTEC solenoid is on the back right of the head. The solenoid is like a cylinder shape and has a clip hanging off of it by 1-2 wires and then the other clip is screwed onto the cylinder. You'll need the clips from an OBD1 car in order to solder the conversion harness wires to. I got mine from a local performance shop for ~15$. The same goes for the O2 sensor, though you can just solder directly to it if you like. You don't need the knock sensor if you're using a P28 ECU, btw.

my motor still has half the harness on it so i think i should be fine with the clips unlike the o2 sensor which they cut it right down to nothing
